Toys of Hope 2026: Reaching More Children, Inspiring More Dreams
Since 2022, Toys of Hope has been bringing joy, creativity, and inspiration to children in vulnerable situations across Spain.
What began as an initiative focused on giving meaningful gifts to children has grown into a broader project built around one simple idea:
Every child deserves a reason to dream.
Over the past years, Toys of Hope has reached more than 1,700 children, working together with different organizations, community groups, and local partners to reach children and families who may be experiencing difficult circumstances.
As we prepare for the 2026 campaign, we are looking ahead to our biggest year yet.
More Than a Toy
At Toys of Hope, we believe that a gift can carry a meaning beyond the moment it is received.
That is why we try to connect gifts with children's interests, imagination, and dreams for the future.
A child who dreams of becoming a doctor might receive a doctor's kit. Another who dreams of becoming a firefighter might receive a firefighter set. For another child, it could be an art set, sports equipment, or something that encourages a completely different passion.
The purpose is not to decide what a child should become.
It is to encourage them to imagine what they could become.
Alongside the gifts, Toys of Hope incorporates educational and creative activities that give children opportunities to learn, create, express themselves, and discover new interests.
Reaching Children Who Need It Most
Throughout the years, Toys of Hope has supported children from different backgrounds and circumstances, including children from refugee communities, foster care, and families experiencing financial hardship.
We work with multiple organizations and community partners that help us connect with children and families in different communities.
These collaborations have allowed Toys of Hope to grow beyond individual gift distributions and become an initiative that brings together people and organizations around a shared purpose: creating positive experiences and opportunities for children.
More Than 1,700 Children Reached
Since the launch of Toys of Hope in 2022, more than 1,700 children have been reached through the initiative.
Each number represents an individual child, a family, a moment of excitement, and an opportunity to remind a child that their dreams matter.
For our team, this milestone is not simply a number. It is a reminder of what can happen when communities come together around children.
And it motivates us to keep going.

For 2026, our goal is to double the number of children reached through Toys of Hope.
We are preparing to expand our activities across:
Barcelona · Costa Brava · Girona · Madrid
Reaching more children also means expanding the educational and creative elements of the initiative and working with more communities and organizations.
The 2026 campaign will involve the coordination of gifts, educational materials, activities, transportation, packaging, distribution, volunteers, and community partners.
Behind every Toys of Hope activity is a team of people working to make sure that children receive not only something to enjoy, but an experience that can inspire them.
Growing Together
Toys of Hope continues to evolve with every campaign.
The initiative has grown from its early activities into a wider program involving more children, more communities, and more organizations.
Our focus remains the same: using play and creative education as a way to encourage children to explore their potential and imagine their future.
As we enter another year of Toys of Hope, we are grateful to everyone who has been part of the journey so far — the organizations that have helped us reach communities, the volunteers who have contributed their time, and everyone who has helped make these experiences possible.
Looking Ahead
More than 1,700 children have already been reached.
Now, we are preparing to reach many more.
The 2026 campaign represents another step forward for Toys of Hope and for WeAre1's commitment to creating meaningful opportunities and experiences for children across Spain.
