TeenZen
A Mobile Mental Health App for Adolescents
What is TeenZen
TeenZen is a mobile mental health app designed to support adolescents’ emotional well-being and resilience. Developed under WeAre1, TeenZen provides accessible, evidence-informed tools that help young people navigate stress, emotions, and everyday challenges in a safe, age-appropriate digital environment.

The Problem
Adolescents today face increasing levels of stress, anxiety, social pressure, and emotional overwhelm, while access to timely, youth-appropriate mental health support remains limited. Long waiting lists, stigma, cost, and lack of early intervention tools leave many young people unsupported at critical stages of their development.

Who TeenZen Is For
TeenZen is designed for adolescents seeking accessible, private, and supportive mental health tools. It is also built to integrate with schools, youth organisations, NGOs, and community-based programmes that support adolescent wellbeing at scale.
Impact & Value
TeenZen focuses on early intervention, prevention, and resilience-building. By empowering young people with practical tools and emotional literacy, the platform supports improved well-being, social participation, and long-term mental health outcomes. Its digital model allows impact to scale across communities and regions without the limitations of traditional service delivery.
Looking Ahead
TeenZen is currently under development, with a working prototype and ongoing refinement of features, partnerships, and deployment models. The platform is preparing for its initial launch in 2026 and is designed for future expansion across education systems, youth services, and international markets.
