Nature Explorer

The Nature Explorers project aims to provide orphaned children in Spain with enriching outdoor experiences and educational activities. Our objective is to foster personal growth, build resilience, and create positive memories for these children while developing their appreciation for the environment. As part of our program, we recently took a group of children aged 8 to 14 years old to a farm in Tarragona, where they had the opportunity to learn about agriculture and interact with farm animals.

The farm visit was an incredibly enriching and educational experience for the children. They were able to engage in hands-on activities and learn about various aspects of agriculture, including planting, harvesting, and caring for animals. By immersing themselves in the farm environment, the children gained a deeper understanding of the importance of sustainable farming practices and the interdependence between humans and nature.

In addition to the agricultural learning, we also incorporated therapy using arts into our program. This allowed the children to express themselves creatively and engage in therapeutic activities. Art therapy serves as a powerful tool for emotional expression, self-esteem development, and overall well-being. By integrating art therapy into our program, we aimed to provide a holistic experience that nurtures both the mind and the soul of the children.
